Meet Our Ocean Movers
🎲 How to Play: Roll a number die (1–6) to choose your Ocean Mover. Then roll your foam die to discover how many movements to do!
Or choose your favorite ocean friend and start moving!
🔵 1 Sea Turtle Stretch
Pretend you're a sea turtle gliding slowly through the ocean.
Try:
stretch your arms long in front of you
make slow swimming motions
crawl on your hands and knees
balance on one foot like you're resting on a rock
take slow, deep turtle breaths
🟢 2 Coral Grow
Coral doesn't move from place to place, but it grows little by little.
Try:
squat down like a tiny coral seed
slowly stand as tall as you can
reach your branches toward the sunlight
gently sway with the ocean current
take slow belly breaths
🟠 3 Starfish Stretch
Stretch out just like a starfish resting on the ocean floor.
Try:
stretch your arms and legs as wide as you can
make a giant X with your body
slowly reach toward the sky
gently sway side to side
curl into a tiny ball, then stretch wide again
🔵 4 Dolphin Jump
Can you leap like a playful dolphin?
Try:
jump over pretend ocean waves
hop from "island" to "island"
clap every time you land
dive low, then jump high
splash with your hands after each jump
🟣 5 Seashell Curl
Some sea creatures hide safely inside their shells.
Try:
curl into a tiny ball
wrap your arms around your knees
slowly peek out of your shell
stretch your arms and legs back out
hide and peek three more times
🟢 6 Blue Tang Swim
Blue tang fish are quick, curious swimmers.
Try:
swish your body side to side
weave around pillows or chairs
dart quickly across the room
freeze when someone says "Shark!"
swim backward to your starting spot
